Miguel + Mikayla Reyes
We founded Quesadilla Gorilla in Downtown Visalia, California in 2013, when Miguel was 21 and Mikayla was 19. We wanted to do something different and new, something we had never seen done before. Both growing up in Hispanic homes, food brought our families together, and when we opened Quesadilla Gorilla we wanted to invite everyone into our family. We went all-in on this crazy unique idea of a fast-casual restaurant that specializes in one thing only: quesadillas.
We brought in recipes from both of our families, and created a "Build Your Own Quesadilla” menu, where everything was made fresh and from scratch. We also wanted to create an environment where the employees and the customers mattered, a space where people could come together and build relationships, both internally and externally. Quesadillas were just the vessel. We craft each store into a welcoming and comfortable space for everyone. Whether it's a first date, a quick lunch stop, or a family outing, welcome!

We’ll give you an overview of what a Quesadilla Gorilla Franchise entails, as well as answer any questions you may have about getting started. We’ll go over expectations, available locations, and costs.
First Interview + Brand Overview
This interview is a chance for us to get to know you and understand your vision, values, and goals and how they would fit with our mission. We’ll also discuss potential site locations. From there, we’ll provide our Franchise Disclosure Document (FDD) for your review.
Now that we know you a bit better, this interview is where we get down to business and review your qualifications, financials, background, credit history, and references. We will also determine approval status of your proposed location site.
After the interview process is complete, we will invite you to sign the Franchise Agreement, pay the franchise fee and other initial fees. This means you’re only six to nine months from opening your own QG location!
We will set you up with all the necessary orientation and training to hit the ground running for opening your store.
Finally, time to celebrate—your QG is ready to open!
